Copilot coding agent is now available in GitHub Enterprise Cloud with data residency

GitHub Copilot coding agent, our autonomous developer agent currently in public preview, is now also available in GitHub Enterprise Cloud with data residency.

You can delegate tasks to Copilot by assigning an issue to Copilot, or using the new agents panel available on every page on GitHub.

Copilot will work in the background, open a pull request, and then tag you for review once it has finished.

To get started, you’ll need to have a Copilot Business or Copilot Enterprise subscription, and an administrator must have enabled Copilot coding agent.
