Managing Dependabot alerts with batched updates is now generally available
What’s new
You can now dismiss or reopen multiple Dependabot alerts at once across your entire organization, making alert management more efficient for security and development teams.
Previously, organization-level alert management only allowed updates to individual alerts. With this new batch action feature, you can quickly select several alerts and dismiss or reopen them in bulk, reducing manual effort and streamlining workflows.
How it works
- Visit your organization’s Dependabot alerts list.
- Use the checkboxes to select multiple alerts.
- Choose Dismiss or Reopen to bulk update the selected alerts.
Who can use this feature:
- Members with the security manager role
- Users with the “View Dependabot alerts” security permission
