Reviewing Visual Studio license assignments just got easier

Customers on the Visual Studio subscriptions with GitHub Enterprise bundle now have greater control in managing user assignments and staying in compliance.

What’s new

Enterprise administrators on the Visual Studio bundle will have access to a new subpage under Billing and licensing > Licensing > Enterprise Cloud > Manage, enabling them to:

• View a breakdown of all assigned licenses by type and spot unused licenses.
• Simplify compliance auditing using automated email matching and manually correct mismatches where needed.

Availability

• This release will gradually roll out across the next few days and is currently only available for github.com, with plans to extend Visual Studio bundles on GitHub’s data residency regions.
